Hardwood or Porcelain Planks ?

This is why you don’t get real hardwood installed in your new house when you have dogs. This new town home in Seminole, Florida is only 6 months old and the dark walnut real wood is already scratched bad. The customer wanted a durable floor so they contacted me to install plank tile. I showed them some dark “wood looking” porcelain plank tile to install in the living room. They were excited now.

They are looking at a 6x24 porcelain tile in Hickory, Maple or Walnut

tile installed is a 6×24 Florida Tile “Natura” Hampton Blonde. (Oak wood look to it).
grout was Laticrete #40 Latte sanded grout.

1450 sq.ft. of Florida Tile “Berkshire” Olive 6×24 plank tile was used.
